Here are some important factors to consider when distributing your music to Microsoft Groove Music:
- After we process your submission, it normally takes about 2 weeks for your release to appear on the Microsoft Groove Music site. However, in certain situations, it can take up to 30 days to appear on the Microsoft Groove Music site.
- Your music will be offered to customers in 2 ways: (1) it will be available for streaming via the Microsoft Groove Music store/app and it will be available for purchase and download via the Microsoft Music Store.
- Microsoft Groove Music has a $500 cash out threshold. This means that you must make at least $500 in sales before Microsoft Groove Music will issue us a payment, which we will then issue to you via the paypal ID you used when signing up
- When someone goes onto Microsoft Groove Music and buys your song for 99¢, Microsoft Groove Music will pay you (through us) approx. 60¢ and they will keep the rest for themselves. However, you must still make at least $500 before they will issue a payment
